Complete users guide for the Triax SR110 Free-to-air satellite receiver.

How to install a Triax SR110 Satellite Receiver

1. Unpack the box
   • Triax standard definition Satellite Receiver
   • Remote control
   • Scart Lead
2. Screw the lead from the satellite dish into the LNB in connection
3. Connect scart lead from TV to 'TV' out connection on box
4. Plug in the power lead
5. Turn on the power switch on the back on the box
6. After 5-6 seconds the box will come on and should automatically switch TV to AV channel
    

How to wipe box clean

1. Press 'Menu' button
2. Scroll down and select 'Channel' option
3. Select 'Delete All'
4. Enter Password '0000'
5. Select 'Yes' to question Do you really want to delete all channels'
    

How to Program box with Autoscan

1. Press 'Menu' button
2. Scroll down and select 'Installation' option
3. Enter Password '0000'
4. Select 'Auto Scan'
5. Select 'Astra / Eurobird 28E' from satellite line, Mode: 'Free', Search: ‘OK'
6. Takes 5-6 minutes and will pull in 300 TV and 250 radio stations
    

How to Sort Channels

1. Press 'Menu' button
2. Scroll down and select 'Channel' option
3. Select ‘TV Channel List'
4. Delete channels by selecting option ‘5'
   • Enter Password '0000'
   • option ‘1' to select channels
   • ‘OK' to confirm delete
5. Sort channels by highlighting channel, select option ‘2', scroll to new location & press ok.
6. Finally press ok & save changes.

How to Flash Program

1. Press 'Menu' button on Master box
2. Scroll down and select 'Tool' option
3. Select ‘Software update'
4. Enter Password '0000'
5. Select update mode ‘Update by RS232'
6. Select ‘Userdb(64+64)'
7. Connect RS232 cable from the back of the Master to the Slave receiver (plugged out)
8. Select ‘Start' option from Master box
9. Plug in the Slave box plug into the power socket
10. Program update will begin and take about 5-6 minutes (see % bar)
11. When finished plug out slave box and power on to verify it has been successfully updated
12. Repeat steps 5-10 for further
     

Why would a satellite channel go missing ?

Find New Channel Frequency

Option 1:

Check out the channel codes provided by tvtrade.ie & see if channel you need is listed.

Note

This table needs to be updated when a frequency changes

It may not always be fully up to date

Option 2: Look up the channel on www.lyngsat.com

1. logon to www.lyngsat.com
2. From the Frequency line in the table come over to 73°E-0°E and click on Europe
3. Now select the satellite / group of satellites of interest to you
   • e.g. 28.2°E (Covers ASTRA 2A,2B,2C,2D,EUROBIRD 1)
4. Search for the channel you are interested in, e.g. 'ITV2'
5. Check out the results (some channels e.g. Five have Free and Encrpted versions)

How To Manually Tune in a Satellite Channel

1. Press 'Menu' button
2. Scroll down and select 'Installation' option
3. Enter Password '0000'
4. Select 'TP Scan'
5. Type in Frequency, Polarity, Symbol and Specify 'Free' Channels only
6. Select 'Search'
7. Additional channels are added to the end of the channel list.
8. Exit out of installation menu and check new list and sort as desired.
