ADVANTAGES of a Coax Plug to socket RF Lead

• Saves having to make up an RF lead to combine a satellite receiver or video to a TV
• It is a good quality cable

DISADVANTAGES of a Coax Plug to socket RF Lead

• Picture is never as clear as when using a scart lead
• Not as flexible as a cable you make up yourself because you;
  
  • can't vary the length
  • can't vary the connector type (coaxial not F) 
  • can't very the connector gender
• Copper in the core of cable is thinner than in satellite cable, but this is normally not an issue in short 1.5m cable runs
• can't be used to connect a standard tv faceplate on wall to the TV i.e. you would need a male to male cable for this
