USES of Proception 4 Way TV Amplifier

• Used to take a signal directly from a UHF and/or a VHF aerial and distibute to up to 4 televisions
• Can take a signal from a sky box (via UHF input) and distribute to up to 4 televisons
• Can be used as a booster to amplify existing signal (could use 1 or 2 way amplifier to do this)

ADVANTAGES of Proception 4 Way TV Amplifier

• Compact and reliable amplifier with a 9dB gain
• Coax distribution amplifiers are on average 20% less expensive than F-type amplifiers
• Least expensive of coax amplifier range
• Can feed up to 4 rooms
• Easy to install and connect up
• Comes with a power indication LED (very handy feature)
• Has a 12v power output on the UHF port allowing it to power a UHF masthead amplifier
• No need to use a UHF / VHF diplixer which saves on both money and reduces signal loss

DISADVANTAGES of 4 Way Amplifier

• As it has 2 inputs it can not be used when a VHF and UHF have already been combined into a signal feed
• It does not have a return path and therefore can not be used to power sky eyes
• If there a good strong input signal a splitter can be used effectively to distribute signal to several rooms at a much lower cost
