How to Mount an 18" Stand Off Universal Mast

Tools needed

• A ladder
• SDS cordless drill
• Short 8mm, 16mm drill bits
• Ratchet with 13 & 17 mm long neck sockets
• Snips
• Safety equipment (harness, safety mat etc)

Equipment needed

• 18 universal wall bracket and pole
• Coach bolt M8 x 50mm & 10mm plastic plugs (qty: 8)

Location

• On a gable wall of a house to ensure aerial is above roof line of neighbouring buildings if possible

Steps to Install

• Position ladder to left (if right handed) of where  universal standoff wall bracket is to be mounted
• Secure the ladders and put on all safety equipment
• Ascend the ladder with the drill, tools, bolts and universal wall bracket
• After selecting desired location use 8mm bit to drill guide holes
• Now use 16mm bit to drill hole
• Use ratchet and 17mm socket to bolt on bracket to the wall using the shield anchor bolts (qty:4)
• THE INSTALLATION IS NOW COMPLETE !

Note: It can be best to mount the aerial on the pole prior to installation of the universal standoff bracket
