Uses of 1.5m Cat5 Ethernet Cable

Used to:

• connect a router directly to the computer
• connect the router to a wireless access point
• connect individual computers, printers, scanners to the Router
• connect from an RJ45 wall plate to your PC, allowing network connection
• connect a series of patch panels, switches etc in a server room
• wire a building back to a central location to create a LAN
  • Usually this task is done using rolls of cable which are then terminated

• In pure material terms it is more expensive to buy pre-terminated cables than cable & connectors
