Caravan Satellite & Aerial Bracket (Jockey Wheel)

How to Install a Caravan Satellite Bracket

• Loosen off the wingnuts on one of the U-bolts
• Slide the U-bolt over the handle and down onto the Jockey wheel shaft
• Rotate the bracket to the required position
• Tighten the wingnuts on the U-bolt until it firmly grips the shaft
• Slide the Pole through the other U-bolt until it touches the ground
• If on a soft surface e.g. grass, tap the pole into the ground using a hammer
• Tighten the wingnuts on the u-bolt until it firmly grips the pole
• Now slide onto the pole either the:
  • Satellite dish or
  • TV aerial
• If the pole it not long enough, you can add on an additional pole using either a:
  • pole coupler or
  • Shelley pole clamp
  • Note: only really an option for TV aerials but not for satellilte dishes due to stability issues.
