The following video illustrates how to convert your USB Memory Stick from the NTFS file system to the FAT32 file system. You might need to do this to work with some of our satellite receivers. Most will work with both FAT32 and NTFS but it is good to know how to do this in any case. This way you can enjoy all the addition features of the receiver like it’s media plater capabilities and it’s PVR features.
Again, you are best to view this video in high definition and full screen to see exactly what is going on. Once you have the USB Drive plugged into your computer or laptop (I used Win Xp Pro for the demo), follow the instructions in the video tutorial.
There is another video in the formatting devices series dealing with the same issue but this time with external hard drives. The procedure is somewhat different in that you cannot use windows to complete the procedure but this is all expained in the other video.
