Getting Freeview in Ireland – Is it possible?

We have recently done up a tutorial on getting Freeview in Ireland and made up and special kit that covers most eventualities.   There was a real need for something like this as the information out there for the average punter was fairly sketchy.   Most of the guides were at best over technical and at worst totally incomplete and missing crucial information.

In out unique tutorial, you will find a clear map of where you can get the Freeview signal from mainland UK and Northern Ireland.   Fortunately for us here in ireland we can benefit from the Freeview signal overspill from N.I. and Wales.  We have aimed on the conservative side when making the map up, you may find that you can actually receive it further into the Republic than we have indicated and it’s best to seek advice from a reputable local installer but as a guide it is fairly thorough.

It also shows all the frequencies involved and How to Combine both Freeview and Saorview Channels on the same Digital Terrestrial Receiver and get the best of both worlds.

After reading the tutorial, you can easily buy a one for all Freeview Kit that will able you to get all the Irish & UK Digital Terrestrial Channels on one box.  Freeview also has the advantage of having more channels on it’s EPG that either Freesat or Free to Air. A prime example would be the ever popular Channel Dave.

Have a look and see what you think, it may or may not suit you depending on where you live in Ireland but if it does and you are thinking of getting rid of your TV bills, why not go the Freeview & Irish Digital TV Combo route.
